Local Tours
Local Tours of the Bahariya oasis can be taken via 4x4 jeep or camel.  Our tours run from ½ day, to full day, to overnight camping along the ridges of the oasis.
§         Natural sights on the tours include: Pyramid Mountain, the vast palm groves, English Mountain, and the great salt lake and climbing various sand dunes.
§         Archaeological tours include: the ancient Egyptian Ain Muftella temple and chapels, ancient Egyptian tombs, the temple of Alexander the Great, and the local Bahariya museum which features 12 mummies from the Valley of the Golden Mummies.


Desert Safaris
The Bahariya oasis is the gateway to the fabulous Western Desert.  It is a perfect starting point for desert safaris to the:
§         Black and White Deserts with their unusual, 10 – 20 m tall chalk formations,
§         Crystal Mountain, which is an area that is filled with giant geoids that have risen to the earth’s surface, 
§         Agabat, and its towering cliffs and sand dunes,
§         The Siwa oasis, with the temple of the Oracle, and unique Berber culture,
§         Ain Della, which has caves filled with prehistoric rock art,
§         D’jara Cave, with its stalagtites and stalagmites,

§         The Farafra, Dakhla, and Kharga oases with their interesting mixture of ancient Egyptian, Coptic, and Bedouin old towns and monuments.

Included: Safari trips range from day tours to 15 days.  All camping equipment, tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, pillows, blankets, windbreaks, carpets, tables, food, 1 bottle of water per day, tea and coffee, and cooks are provided.  Also reliable 4x4 jeeps, desert guides, and all desert and antiquities permissions are included.
